Hello! My name is Denise Garcia. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2020. I often go back and forth between these cities because I have a large Hispanic family that we enjoy visiting regularly. I am a daughter, sister to three, and aunt to three.

I grew up surrounded by younger children in my family, which ultimately led me to develop a passion for caring for kids. I always knew I wanted to work in a field involving children, and when I started at CSN in 2023, I realized that becoming a teacher was my true calling.

I am currently in my final semester at CSN  getting my AA in Elementary Educationbefore transferring to UNLV in the fall of 2025 to get my bachelors.
