Artifact: Case Study
What I Learned:
From doing this case study, I was able to build knowledge about the different developmental stages children go through at different ages. I was able to observe a child and see how, even in just a few hours, we can see whether they are meeting the expected standards for their age. This experience also taught me that by using research and observation, we can better understand where a child is developmentally and tailor our teaching to support their learning needs.
Future Practice:
I can apply this in my future classroom by closely observing my students and being aware of the developmental stages they are in. This will help me recognize their individual needs and adjust my teaching strategies. By understanding where each student is developmentally, I can provide more more support and create a learing enviorment they will do best in.
